Actor Pakistan Resham online trend for a new video that shows it throwing plastic bags into water in the wrong ‘charity’ incident when he is there to feed aquatic animals. After he received a big reaction for polluting the river, he apologized for his actions and also blamed the brain fog that was induced by Covid, Pakistani media reported.
Resham uploaded a video on Sunday without realizing that the act of throwing plastic would not escape attention. The actor was in Charsadda where he spent time with flood victims. On his way back, he stopped by the river and feeded aquatic animals.
In the viral video, the actor first threat of meat to the river and then a plastic container too. Then he threw the bread and wrap the plastic into the water.
In the controversy that the video triggered, the actor told Geo TV that his actions were unintentional and he did not realize that he pollutes the river. He also said he now forgot about things after suffering from Covid twice. “I have Covid twice and the effect is still there. I forgot a lot of things and I don’t remember what I did four hours ago.
Resham also questioned criticism and said that there were many other big problems besides he threw a few plastic into the river – to note. “I admit that I made a mistake when I threw plastic into flood water, but women were raped by gangs every day,” he said.
There is a lot of violence against women, but everyone is blinded by a piece of plastic. They live in a place where only fools can be happy. I only give charity (sadaqah), “said the actor.
