The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) High Commissioner Filippo Grandi has said that the Taliban has to fulfil some pledges if they want their fiscal coffers to be defrosted.
The UN manager for deportees further said that Afghan women and girls must be allowed to attend seminaries, and nonages must be represented, reported Tolo News.
Meanwhile, he also told the Washington Post that it’s important to maintain dialogue with the Islamic Emirate, saying that this will insure that Afghanistan is” feasible”, reported Tolo News.
“But in the end, in the end, it’s important to maintain that dialogue with the Taliban, because all these systems will be temporary in nature, and how to insure that Afghanistan is feasible, is a feasible country suitable to support its people, I suppose will only be achieved through dialogue between the transnational community and the Taliban themselves,” said Grandi.
Grandi added that he delivered the same communication to the Islamic Emirate when he was visiting Kabul that the”Taliban”has to fulfil some pledges if they want their fiscal coffers to be defrosted, reported Tolo News.
“When I was in Kabul, and when my associates were there, we all told the Taliban the samemessage.However, if you want the country to enjoy again substantial development support by the transnational community, you also have to take way in their direction, If you want your coffers to be defrosted. It’s– it goes both ways, but it’s a dialogue. It can not be a wall-to- wall situation, said Grandi.
Following the Taliban preemption inmid-August, the US set nearly 10 billion bones in Afghanistan’s means and slighted warrants on the Islamic Emirate.
In the meantime, the cessation of foreign aids to Afghanistan has crippled the formerly fragile profitable system of Afghanistan and has negatively affected the lives of millions of people.
