Afghanistan opposition leader Ahmad Massoud Sunday said he was ready to stop fighting if the Taliban withdrew from Panjshir. Welcomed the proposal of the Ulama Religious Council for talks to end the struggle over the valley where the opposition forces had survived since Kabul fell three weeks ago, the head of the National Resistance in front of Afghanistan (NRFA) said, “To achieve eternal peace, the Afghanistan NRF is ready to stop fighting with The condition that the Taliban also stopped their military attacks and movements in Panjshir and Andarab. “

On Sunday, their troops had struggled to Bazarak, the capital of the Panjshir Province where the opposition forces had survived since Kabul fell three weeks ago, the Reuters news agency reported. The headquarters of the police and the Rukhah district center had fallen, and the opposition troops had suffered many victims, Taliban spokesman Bilal Karimi said on Twitter.

However, claims have not been confirmed. Earlier on Sunday, Fahim Dashti, a spokesman for the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRFA), said the “propaganda machine” of the Taliban was trying to spread annoying messages.

Ariana Afghan Airlines continued several flights in Afghanistan between Kabul and three major provincial cities on Saturday, the carrier said, after the technical team of Qatar reopened the capital airport for assistance and domestic services. Flights between Kabul and Kota Western Herat, Mazar-i Sharif in North Afghanistan and Kandahar in the south have begun, the airline said in a statement on his Facebook page.

In Panjshir, the Taliban and the opposition forces struggled on Saturday to control the last Afghan Province which lasted against militant groups. Both parties claim to have superior in Panjshir but no one can produce conclusive evidence to prove it.

In other news, Taliban sources also told Reuters that one of the founders of the group and Head of the Political Office Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar would lead the new Afghan government.
