The state funeral for one hour Queen Elizabeth, the first in the UK since the death of his first prime minister Winston Churchill in 1965, will take place today at Westminster Abbey in London.

The funeral will end 11 days of national mourning throughout England who have seen the personal sadness of the royal family playing in an intense international attention.
