August 15 is a decisive date for Indians and Afghanistan, but for diametrically opposite reasons. Indians won their freedom 75 years ago. Afghan people lost them last year when the Taliban 2.0 stormed back to power in Kabul, took the world and might surprise themselves. The Rag-Tag religious fanatical movement has succeeded in demeaning the power of the coalition led by the most powerful state on the planet.
But first -first the key question: Is the Taliban Ultraconservative an anomaly in our world with dominant democratic society? The answer that is guarded is ‘maybe no’! The reason is that there is space for different dispensation. If the dictatorship of military, invaders, communism, socialist, aristocracy, monarchy, theocracy, oligarchy, authoritarian and totalitarian regime (like North Korea) exists even today, then why not the theological entity that is very orthodox -7 century?
The fact is that centuries of living side by side within the limits of several countries, and thousands of years, in a greater expanse. Even today there are pockets of hunting tribes, which live in natural conditions, in some countries including India (Sentinelese in the Bengal Islands Bay, Andaman Tribe, etc.). On the other hand, humanity is preparing to land on Mars. The most sacred and most sacred people inhabit our planet! Like it or not, we need to recognize extreme reality in our midst.
