Imran Khan has been ordered under the law of defamation Pakistan along with 150 others after the new prime minister in the country Shehbaz Sharif was welcomed in a rough language on his first foreign journey to Saudi Arabia.

This case was submitted by Punjab Police against former international cricket players, who were overthrown as prime ministers in April, several former cabinet ministers and key members from the Pakistani Tehreek-E-Insaf party.

Among those mentioned in the accusation were former Minister Fawad Chaudhry and Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, the Dawn newspaper reported.

Complaints have been registered under the law of defamation of the Criminal Code Pakistan. Alleged blasphemy of the Prophet Mosque in the Holy City of Medina, Hooliganism and injuring Muslim sentiments.

Actions against Khan emerged after several videos appeared on social media that showed hundreds of people who lifted the slogans against Mr. Sharif and his delegation when they arrived at the Al-Masjid-E-Nabawi Mosque in Medina on Thursday.

The videos show people, reported pilgrims from Pakistan, shouting “thieves” and “traitors”, and directed explicit language at Mr. Sharif and his delegation. Saudi authorities on Friday said they arrested five Pakistani citizens who were allegedly involved in the incident.

Some social media users in Pakistan are angry after the complaint is submitted under the blasphemy that has long been opposed by activists, because anyone who is punished based on the law can face 10 years in prison or even face the death sentence.

While nothing is executed under the law, the suspect is often attacked and sometimes killed by the masses. Asad Umar, a former minister in the Khan Cabinet, came to defend himself and call the accusation “silly”.

The first information report (FIR), a formal document to introduce accusations by the police against a defendant, was submitted by local residents in the city of Faisalabad. He accused more than 100 supporters of Khan sent to Saudi Arabia from Pakistan and Britain under the “scheme and conspiracy planned and thought”.

Mr Khan has denied his involvement in the Saudi Arabian incident. In an interview with Ary News Channel, he said the public was angry after his reign was overthrown with a voice insecure last month.

This is a public reaction. We don’t ask them to get out, “he said in an interview. He also questioned Fir’s validity and asked “how they connected us with what happened at Medina”.

In a separate comment for Dawn, he said: “I can’t think of asking anyone to do sloganeering in that sacred place. No one loves the Prophet and can even think about it. “

Mr. Sharif, who was appointed as Prime Minister of Pakistan on April 11 with the majority, was the brother of former Prime Minister three times Nawaz Sharif.

The government was overthrown after the joint opposition submitted a vote without trust in the country’s parliament after the Supreme Court intervention.
