The tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan has increased since the very religious hardline, the Taliban won the Kabul last year.

Islamabad claims that routine attacks are carried out by militant groups operating from across the border.

In his statement on Sunday, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry gave a direct assessment of the situation.

Pakistan, once again, is very condemning terrorists operating with the impunity of Afghan land to carry out activities in Pakistan,” he said in a statement on Sunday.

Islamabad urged Kabul “to secure the border area of Pak-Afghanistan and take strong action against people involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan.”

Pakistan itself is often accused of storing the Afghan Taliban before the hardline movement returned to power last August. Islamabad has since been at the forefront of efforts to make the world involved with the new Afghan government.

It is still unclear whether the new Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will offer as many support as possible to the Taliban as its predecessor Imran Khan. Under Khan’s conservative Islamist, which was overthrown in voting without trust earlier this month, Pakistan had moved away from the influence of the US and was closer to Russia and China.

Islamic commemoration follows the report that the Pakistani Air Force conducted a raid on the bombing in the eastern region of Afghanistan in Khost and Kunar on Friday night.

The Taliban claims that at least 45 civilians have been killed, including at least five children and a woman, in air strikes. There was a protest in Khost on Saturday in response to the attack.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has not confirmed air strikes, and the Pakistani embassy in Kabul denied that the country had implemented it.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid urged Pakistan “not to test the patience of Afghanistan on such issues and did not repeat the same mistakes anymore if there were no bad consequences.”

The UN assistance mission (Unama) in Afghanistan voiced his concern over the report of raids and victims.

Unama is very concerned about the reports of civilian casualties, including women and children, as a result of air strikes in the provinces of Khost and Kunar,” said the corpse.
