Islamabad: Pakistani Taliban on Wednesday announced he would launch a Ramadan attack on security forces, after claiming the attack which according to the military killed at least six of his troops.
The Pakistani Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP), a separate movement that shares the roots along with the militants in power in Afghanistan last year, has increased attacks in recent months.
The government held a series of talks with militants at the end of last year before the agreed ceasefire collapsed.
Spring attacks will begin on the first day of the Holy Moon of Ramadhan, starting on Sunday or Monday, and will target their security forces and collaborators, Mohammad Khorasani, spokesman for TTP militant groups say in a statement.
This operation will include martyr (suicide), attack attacks, mining operations, counterattacks, target attacks, laser operations and snipers,” he added.
TTP pressed the government to allow guerrillas to return to their hometown with impunity after foreign fighters were told by the Afghan Taliban to leave Afghanistan.
Appeared after the country’s armed forces said militants were trying to invade compounds in the border area near Afghanistan, killing at least six Pakistani troops.
The attack was claimed by TTP, which said they had killed or injured more than 30 soldiers.
Militants often exaggerate their profits, while the military community relations department also plays losses or delays report it.
The announcement came as Prime Minister Imran Khan faced a voice without trust – the biggest challenge for his power since becoming a leader in 2018.
Pakistani’s restive border region has long been a force for groups such as TTP, which operates across the porous boundary with Afghanistan.
The group spread the country into the period of terrible violence after being formed in 2007, before the big crackdown in 2014 forced them to hide on the border.
But since the takeover of the Taliban Kabul, the local group has become brave and carried out dozens of such attacks in Pakistani land.
But it failed on December 10, with hard lines accused the government to violate the provision of ceasefire.
