was released, US media reported. The videotape shows the bobbyapproaching a situated vehicle and suddenly opening its door. He also asked a teenager seen eating a burger inside to step out. When Erick Cantu questioned the bobbyon why he was being ordered so, the bobby
tries to snare him and the auto started moving in rear with the door still open. Within seconds, the bobbyfired multiple shots as the teen shut the door and fled the spot. The auto was reportedly set up a block down. The teen suffered multiple shots. A 17- time-old girl was in the passenger seat, but was unhurt.
There is nothing that I can say that could defend what he did, his conduct that night,” San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said when videotape of the incident was released.” Officers are banned from shooting at moving vehicles unless it’s in defense of life, and that particular case that evening wasn’t in defense of life.
Mr McManus said officers did not find any ordnance on the teen or in the auto he was driving,KSAT.com reported. He added that neither the teen nor the auto he was driving had anything to do with the disturbance call officer Brennand was responding to on Sunday night, the news website said.
The bobbwas called for a disturbance at 1045 pm and was speaking with substantiations when he noticed Mr Cantu’s vehicle and recognised it from a separate incident the day ahead. The previous incident wasn’t related to the disturbance call at McDonald’s, according to police.
