Heavy rain and muddy roads are not only dangerous for humans but also for wild animals that travel in the wild during the rainy season. An example is an elephant baby who slipped and fell into a high channel in Thailand. Everything changed dramatically when the savior tried to save the baby with his mother fainted in stress.
After a one -year -old calf fell into a hole in the Royal Hill Golf Course area, Khao Yai National Park in Nakhon Nayok Province, his mother tried his best to help the baby out. However, the rain continues and the slippery muddy terrain makes all efforts in vain.
When the savior of wildlife arrived at the scene to help the baby, the anxious mother proved to be a barrier in surgery. Everything became awry when the rescue team used a shot to conquer the panic elephant and he also partly fell.
The video shows the savior competing with time to not only help babies but also mothers. The savior uses a crane mounted on a truck to pull the mother before climbing on it to carry out cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), while the excavator is seen in the action to clean the way to help the calf climb out of the drain.
Dr. Chananya said, “Regardless of obstacles, the mother did not leave the baby’s side”. He added that the experience would be the “one of the most memorable saves” they had done.
Finally, the calf is able to climb out of the hole and the elephant mother is also aware again. The video shows the calf to suckle her mother immediately after
coming out and helping the mother too calm her nerves. After the complete and tense operation which lasted more than three hours, both returned to the wild, according to The Guardian.
